If you could design a religion, what would it look like?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 08, 2007:
Ah, another easy question. ;-)
Religions role is to keep alive the teaching myths of morality and right conduct that allow society to advance.
Society advances best when all flavors are allowed, so one key point would be non-exclusiveness. No one not allowed in who claims interest, no conversion rite. No dropping of other methods.
Humans appreciate the power of story, and the memorization of story is easier than a string of facts or suggestions, so (especially for children) the religion would include a strong tradition of sharing and weaving story.
All questioning would be encouraged, and lovingly turned back on itself to the inital curiosity of existence -"Who am I?"
No rules, just a keeping of suggestions based on historical methods that have proven useful over time and serve to keep the members of society healthy and advancing, and which do the same for society in general.
A pervadig sense of honoring the blessing of existence, both in ourselves, and the myriad shapes of the existence of others - people, place and things.
Peace.
A dedication to action when called for, and contemplation at all times.
